The condenser unit needs cleaning out I expect it’s blocked with fluff? If you need expert help on that then do please click on the link below for an engineer to sort it for you. 🙂

😯 Check the fan that circulates air through the system, you could find it has stalled due to a broken or warped fan blade. It should spin freely, any scraping then you will need to strip it down and investigate. Also check the fan motor bearing, may have come to the end of its life 😡 If the fan fails to spin in dry mode the trip will fire due to the excessive heat build up.

💡 Remember unplug before poking around the fan.

The condenser unit could also be clogged, a job that needs doing about every 9 months. Easy to do but fiddly. Check the drain pump for foreign objects while the back is off the unit.
😉 That should keep you busy one Saturday morning!
