hoover wahser dryer

Place the program on heat. dryer motor turns for about 2 seconds then stops. keeps repeating this and never actually heats clothes.

any ideas.

i did have model number but misplaced it. its 3 year old. once I dig model out, i’ll add it to post but just wondering if anyone knows a generic problem with them

Check if motor has come loose from upper part of heater box

I would change dryer module after I cleaned the condenser on the back which is a bit of a job and checked all the other components for continuity and cleaned the fan on the dryer

And it’s at least 8 years if not old these nextra where the 1st machines I learnt to repair
