Hoover wash & dry 500 won’t dry clothes!

Hoover wash & dry 500 machine (HDD4106AMBCB-80) recently out of warranty (karma for not renewing) has stopped drying clothes!

The thermistor came loose a few months back but we’ve not been able to locate the correct part, currently duct taped on the machine (can’t make this up) so it’s been working fine but now it won’t dry a single thing and it’s driving me mad.

Does anyone have any ideas? And also any idea where we can get a correct new thermistor?

as for not drying the safety stats trip out if it gets too hot and may just need resetting

Thank you! Any idea how to reset the safety stats? I’ve googled the hell out of it, seems like we have a washing machine that’s not easy to fix ourselves.
