    Hoover washer. Dxa49w3/1-80…31006497.This machine has stopped and is displaying the singular digit 8 floating across the display. Can anyone throw some light on this one please.

    Thank you for reply. I may be totally wrong in this but would the fault codes not consist of something like …E08 or F08 rather than a single 8 that moves about display.

    yes, your right ….info also contains self diagnostic settings which may be of help
