Hoover Washer dryer 1300 HNW 7137 S/N 09858 Not drying

Hi guys
Long time no see. Hope everyone is well.
Daughter in last year at Uni now and the washer dryer in their flat is misbehaving. The washing is no longer drying and is just hot and wet at the end of the cycle.
The handyman / plumber came today, looked at the manual and said that it doesn’t have a filter ? and to give it another go.Well, if it’s not been working for a few days it’s not going to start now.
Can anyone tell me what the fault might be so that she can get back to him on this.He did say that he would need to OK it with the Landlord to get a washing machine repairer in.

hi Hilary,
not familiar with this exact machine but this could be a number of things
1/blocked pump/filter
2/condensor solenoid
3/timer/module/broken wire
if clothes are hot and wet i would think that the dryer element is ok .the machine sounds like it is not draining the water while trying to dry.?

Thanks for your quick reply Niall. It sounds like someone will need to come in then and sort it for them. I’ll get daughter to phone him back and ask for a service call out. Many thanks.
