Hoover washer dryer cross piece HNL7146-80

This machine requires a new cross piece/ bearings.
In the past I have just replaced the whole drum but I see they now sell the cross piece seperatly, part number 41014218.

So my question is how do you guys remove the large pot rivets holding the cross piece in and how do you secure the new cross piece in place?.

Trouble is I dont think my pot rivet gun is big or man enough for this job.

You’ll need a cobalt drill to shift those ” pop” rivets then enlarge the holes and fit with Hotpoint’s bolt kit the best solution

Thanks alot Martin, will leave the pop/ pot rivets alone and get the drill out instead. 😀
