The display was flashing and does not make sense.

Meggered the wm – dirty motor, cleaned up and insulation improved.

    Heater ok
Motor looks clean and air brushed commutator clean

Gonna try pressure switch to see if it helps

Lower control board clean as a whistle and same for facia control board.

Any ideas before I write it off or spend money on new boards?

To better explain on how what’s going on with the machine,

the machine pumped the water out intermitted and at same time the display board was flashing. The digits were not clear.

Pulled the mains plug, the display showed up as normal. Select Spin then pressed start, then it started going funny. The pump appears to be sound, no blockage or jamming.

I have tried swapping the pressure switch and no change.

The machine is 2 years old.

    Any thoughts?

    Matt

Selector switch. Switch on machine. Tap control knob lightly to see if display flickers.
