HAS HIGH CURRENT DRAW FROM PUMP WHILST BEING RESTRICTED WITH OBSTRUCTION TAKEN OUT MODULE

JUST EVALUATING WHICH IS MORE COST EFFECTIVE..REPAIR OR REPLACE

Not done a Hoover but I repaired a Servis module with the same fault. I traced the wiring from the pump to a small triac which I could buy cheaply.

Had the same on a Candy, new board by the looks of it. 🙁

quite common on these, qer repair these boards for approx £30.

I had this, sent the board to EMW. They sent it back with a note that this machine leaks from the hose at the top of the tub or dispenser and shorts the pump. I covered the pump when fitting the new board.

Blocked pump will do it every time some of the core boards werent programed correctly . WONT TIME OUT so it trys to pump out till the triac burns out ..allegedly so i here on the grape vine .. but hay thats just my opinion….
