Hoover washing machine 8yrs old

Customer complaining of not spinning correctly. Brushes worn so I changed them. Put unit on spin but only rotated twice and sat there pumping out. No further action. Am I missing anything obvious? Checked pressure switch/chamber and connections. Any advice for me??

Yes the model would be handy… Apologies. Model is a CA230.

Check connections to motor tacho, wires brake at tacho, just check the resistance, it should be about 40 ohms i think. also check motor rotates both ways on wash.

look for dry soldered joints on relays on small pcb.

or change the heater, whichevers quicker

The one thing I did notice was it rotates one direction, I hear the click as if it’s going too rotate again but nothing happens. So it does appear to be only rotating one direction. So is it.. A. Tacho
B. Motor
C. PCB
D. Heater
E. None of the above.
Won’t get back to this unit til Monday as they’re away. So going back fully armed!! Thanks for the replys lads..
