Hoover washing machine display frozen

This machine has frozen with display stuck. (See photo in attachment). Fitted a new heater to this a few days ago and customer said they did several washes and now it’s frozen like this. Nothing I’ve tried clears the display. Display board and power board have no signs of damage. Heater checks out ok. Seems like it completed last cycle. Shows door lock symbol but door is unlocked.

Any ideas please?

Try this:-
With the rotary selector in the off position, press and hold the Stain Blaster button. Then rotate selector to the coloureds cycle (2nd position clockwise). Release stain blaster button and press start.

If the door lock light comes on look at carbon brushes if they are fine what element part number did you fit? If these are both fine then it will be main pcb, Martin is trying to tell you to put the machine through a test cycle I don’t think that will make a difference
