Hoover washing machine filling while spinning

Does anyone know of an issue with Hoover washing machines constantly filling even when emptying and even when spinning?

Sounds like they are getting a constant neutral return somehow. I’ve definitely had this problem before some years back but can’t remember what it was. An obvious conclusion is a fault on the PCB but these days I know you get some really weird fault is happening at times caused by unexpected things.

My mate has to look at one this afternoon.

Does it ‘only’ fill constantly while draining and spinning?

Have you tried the heater as they give of weird faults?

Low brushes/earthing issues on drive motor will do it as well.
