Hoover wdm 130 won’t spin

In the cycle 4 spin the machine does no more than give a few half hearted slow spins. leaving clothes very wet. Have checked the pump and removed a coin from the pipe running from the drum to the pump but no change. Any advice on where I should look next

It may be the brushes on the motor are worn down perhaps ?

Is it draining quite quickly ?

Seems to drain down fine. Might be the brushes but its not very old2-3 years and doesn’t get hard use

Found the problem a bad solder joint on one of the relays on the motor control PCB. Repaired and its working fine

I’ve just moved into a new house which has one of these. It doesn’t appear to be working properly but we haven’t got a manual for it and Hoover will charge to send one out. Is there any chance you could give me a quick run-down of the basic programmes (i.e. how to put on a standard wash, rinse and spin)? I have a seperate dryer so it’s just for washing.

As an aquisition your Hoover machine is well worth investing in a User Instruction Booklet to show you all the comprehensive features available from it. 🙂
