Does this machine have any known issues with the control timer causing no heat?

The element is fine, wiring looks sound. Set to any programme and it advances through but does not switch the heater on, it does not pause at the heat step but advances steadily through the wash to the rinses.

I suspect the control timer, unless you know better. 🙂

There is an economy button on this model. And its normal for the print to wear / rub off. Not sure if you checked for this?
Its an obvious one but not if the print has worn away.

Other than that it could be the module at the bottom near the motor, Im sure it does the heat control. Not that ive ever changed one for that reason, only for no motor action faults.

Tried with the economy button in and out. Its often confusing on these, sometimes the option is selected when the button is in, sometimes when out, so I tried both.

There is a tech sheet on the GIAS site relating to a no heat fault and the timer but the translation into English is very poor to say the least.
It suggests possible NTC faults but this machine has a bog standard stat AFAIK. May have to have a closer look at the PCB. 😕

Would that cause it to advance rapidly to the end of the programme, or would it pause on the heat cycle first. This one is going straight through without any pause.
