    Hi, I’ve had a good search but cannot find that this is a common problem. My washer / drier has developed a fault which allows me to turn on the washer with the door open and open the door during a wash cycle 😯

    The vacuum press-switch for the door release is still operating correctly, I think, as its resistance hasn’t changed, so I think it’s on the electrical side.

    Easy access ? Easy change ?

    With a curious 2 year-old, I obviously need to fix this ASAP. I found the replacement door lock on the site and will probably order one and change it anyway, but it seems odd that whatever has caused this hasn’t failed to a safe condition.

    Hi
    Changing the door lock may cure your problem .
    May also be a problem with loose sloppy door hook on this range of machine too .
