hoover we146 bearings replacement

Hi

Has anyone attempted to change the bearings on one of these machines (its about 7 years old). I`ve bought some new bearings but would like to know if its a big job and the original bearings are easy to remove.

plug out before attempting anything.
its a big job the tub assembly has to be taken out through the top of the machine, then th tub has to be splt to get the drum out then invariably the shaft on the drum will be damaged meaning that if you do change the bearings it might not last very long.
in my opinion its not really a diy job unless you are competent, i would suggest you contact repairs@ and ask someone how much they would charge to fix it.
