Hoover whisper error 1

Hi there,

We have a Hoover whisper 1600 AAA that has taken to displaying ‘error 1’. I don’t have a problem with calling an engineer tomorrow but we generate a lot of washing so if there’s a fix that anyone could suggest, I’d be grateful.

just looked in the tech. forum and it says E1 is timed out on either fill heat or drain, which means its taken to long to do one of those.

Have you checked your filter? If you generate a lot of washing you may have lost a sock or maybe even some coins, I think it will probably be a drainage fault, also check that the drain hose is no more than 5″ into the stand pipe, this could cause the water to syphon out the machine.

Power off if you want to investigate further.

Check the hoses arnt kinked as well.

If you are unsure, call ur engineer.
