Hoover wmd130 Not Heating

Hi my Hoover wmd130 has two faults. 1 It will not heat the water and program on through the cycle unless I forward it by one click, will then continue to next heating phase ie. prog2 to prog4. Forward it one click will then run remainder of program rinse spin ect. Have checked the heater & temp switch for continuity right back to the connection on the programmer, all ok. With machine on and at the heating stage no voltage at heater. With seperate supply connected direct to heater terminals, heater works.

2 Door is perminanty locked [red indicator on]. Water level is correct and fills and drains ok so i think the presure switch and pipe are ok. HELP!!!

The only way to confirm correct operation of the pressure switch is to check it with a meter both pressurised and unpressurised. You also need to check the heater for insulation breakdown which can damage other parts like the door lock.
If in doubt then perhaps time to call an engineer?
If you do have a go then needless to say you must unplug the machine while any tests are carried out.

have checked heater for insulation breakdown between each terminal and earth, all ok.

Will check pressure switch tomorrow.

Any suggestions for getting the door open.
