Anyone know if this is a common problem? Over the past few months I have been to 2 Hoover w/m with drive belt cast off.

Both are the plastic pulley type which worked loose, the one today (just over a year old) had snapped the retaining pulley bolt in the shaft.

Just wondering if you guys have come across this in any quantity.

I haven’t personally but you will no doubt be thrilled to know (if you don’t already that is?) that the drum pulley is NOT available as a spare part. Only fitting a complete welded tub assembly (43000507) complete with pulley is the Gias way of doing things these days. :rolls:

Thanks for the reply Martin, have asked the customer to check if the machine came with the 5 years parts thingy as being the cheaper option.
