    Hi guys

I have a Hoover WMH168D washing machine that has developed a fault and is showing E08 error code.

The machine will fill and drain ok, but will not spin at all (No life whatsoever from motor). I have taken the motor out and examined the brushes and they are in good condition, and there is plenty left on them. I have tested the tachometer with a multimeter and it is showing correct resistance 43.7 and varing when spinning the motor.

The machine is approx 3 years old and is only used lightly, it had a new PCB installed under warranty after about 6 months.

Do you think the problem lies in the PCB or the motor or somewhere else maybe, parts are available pretty easily, new ones are a bit expensive so i was thinking of buying 2nd hand from ebay.

    All help appreciated
