The machine will start a cycle like normal by filling up. When you would then expect it to move on to the next part of the cycle it just stops and the prewash light starts to flash, it does this regardless of which programme is selected, including pump out. If I press start several times it fills up more each time, eventually it will then pump out a little bit to reduce level, so the pump seems to be working, though there is a slight noise when it does so. I have read that the prewash light flashing means there is a filling problem, but it fills then does nothing else. I also don’t get any other combination of flashing lights, just the prewash
I have tried turning it on and off and don’t know what else to try, or if it is even worth trying anything or if its just a call hotpoint case! :rolls:
Any advise? (Machine is WF320, just less than two years old)
id be taking the top of (with plug out ) and checking the pipe hasnt come off the pressure switch, firstly…. its at the rear of the soap box
other than that, it could be a blocked sump, or even a board problem!!!
does it empty ok?

I can’t get it to empty at all via the programmes only if I empty it manually.
