Hoptpoint Aquarius WDL 540 washer dryer

When the machine is switched on an prog set,it’s takes some water in and waits then it takes more water. Then All the function lights flash at a constant flash rate. And the machine just sits ..

Do you mean ALL the lights flash very fast or is it just the mains light flashing rapidly and some of the left hand column of lights blinking slowly.

If they are all flashing then the main pcb is faulty.

Yes all 4 function lights
Super wash
Extra rinse
Mini load
Slow spin

So ALL the lights are not flashing, only the option ones.

Those lights are not used for error codes so it could well be that the facia PCB is at fault. Quite common on these low end, Indesit electronics. 🙁

Have been to look again
All function buttons are flashing
Including start/pause
The sequence is as follows
Takes water in
Takes water in short burst
Runs empty cycle
Dryer motor runs
All bottom row of lights flash fast

Those lights are not used for error codes, the dryer ntc can cause all sorts of weird faults on these machines .

So the fault lights are the wash cycle progress lights
Not sure why heater motor runs

Basically low end, Indesit made appliances. 🙁
