    hi guys
    hope everyone is OK.
I have had this washing machine for a year and it keeps using all our hot water. I have had a look behind it and it is plugged into the hot water supply. The question is can I change it to cold tap supply at all?

    Many thanks guys

if it has one hose it should only be on a cold supply

Many thanks for the quick reply.

Where we are renting, landlord has lent us his washing machine, it was all set up for us to use. I just thought it was meant to be like that.

I will change it to cold tap when I get home.

Many thanks again, we will have hot water now.

The washing machine in question is the beko wm74155lw, will check to see if it really does have only one hose.

i have took some pictures of the hose:

i am guessing that it does not matter if it shows a red hose?

what i mean is that there is a red ring on the hose.

    nope

    one hose means cold feed
2 hoses and you have to make sure hot and cold correctly placed

    as a test
select just a rinse. That should be cold, if its hot its wrong
hot rinses and not only will you waste energy but you would have one heck of a time ironing what comes out
