hot point wf220p won’t start

the sticker on the side says:

0318 WF220P 29157862

When I try to switch on the washing machine I get the top two lights flashing next to ‘mini load’ and ‘reduce creases’. They don’t flash in any pattern but just keep flashing without pause. The start light flashes with a much higher frequency.

Does that offer any insights as to what might be wrong?

It is better to give the lights by number from top down. Do you mean that lights 2 + 3 are flashing?

If yes then it is error code F06, originally listed as an unused code, later found to refer to the door interlock, door interlock wiring or connection from door lock to main pcb.If its 1+2 flashing then it is a communications error, all connections between the facia and main pcb need checking/tightening.

It is the top two lights next to the top two buttons, so wouldn’t that be lights 1 and 2?
