The washing machine – Hotpoint WMA 76 will not drain water during the cycle.
Fills, spins ok.
When it gets to draining, the water just sits there. If I lay the outflow pipe down in a shallow bucket the water will drain out this way, but the machine makes no attempt to activly drain it. I seem to remember hearing a noise previously when it was draining water, is this some pump? Anyway the machine is silent when it should be emptying.
