we have a hotpont Aquarius 1400 spin it has 5 led lights down the left hand side (by the draw )of which i found the other day the number 1 led ( wash enhance) was flashing slowly and the on/off led light was flashing quickly.

The pump is clear of any blockage and it is pumping out the water, once it has pumped the water out it just keeps on pumping and it does not go onto the spin cycle of the program.

could anyone help as to my next course of action or to what the problem may be.
    Thank you.

hows about advising the right thing?

    light 1 is f08

    heater relay on pcb sticking

worth checking insulation on heater and/or pressure switch

money is on pcb failure. requiruing pcb and smart card , card differs depending on tub and motor fitted

    and a reader to programme

or emw cxan supply a replacement

and gandhi.. how can you advise on carbons when it

    a > isnt the fault
    b > has either a ceset/fhp motor or 45mm/. 52mm stack?

nothing to do with the brushes im afraid

    Pritstick,

Be advised that Gandh1 is not a Trade Member of UKWhitegoods, we have no way of judging his competency with regard to you problem. The information by Helo_75 is technically accurate and points to the heater relay fault – almost inevitably a control board problem.

The usual way of dealing with this is to use your 5 year parts warranty and pay The Indesit Company £99.85 to sort it.
