hotoint ctd40 very noisey

when you first start its ok but when it warms up when the t/d is reversing it vibrates and is noisey one way, its not the drum sharft or front bearings. i think it is the front fan or rear fan but i cant see any wear in the blades. the noise is not a metal on metal its more a vibrating noise….anybody had this problems

yep, front fan goes out of shape

take it off and run it, see if its quiet!

Hi Ed, sometimes the rear fan shears on the shaft of the motor. Fan looks ok until you turn it by hand and find it’s loose. New fan and it’s sorted 😉 .
