Hotpoint 9536 Washing Machine Door Seal Replacement

I need to replace the door/drum seal for my Hotpoint 9536 W/M – it has a metal band clip on the drum.

I think I first need to remove the front panel to do this. Can someone offer me any specific advice in removing the panel and tips on removing and replacing the seal?

Are you sure about that model number? is it 9524/5/6 or 9538/9 . You are thinking along the right lines re the front panel. 😉 the only clue I can give you is that there are screws behind the soap drawer and the timer knob. For legal reasons we cannot give you ‘specific’ details, other than to tell you to make sure you remove the plug first.
