Cant seem to find a reference to it, models jump from 9556 then start again at 9560.

No problem, just couldn’t place the model. was reading the following in an appliance repair forum……… Thought there was one out there I didnt know about.

Looking at the above it looks like someone has made a very big job out of something quite simple.
Ceramic Seal ????

Methinks confusion over the Hoover ceramic ring and carbon faced seal but like I said, couldnt find the model and thought well, you know what bodges there are out there…… 😯

The model number, together with exploded drawings and part numbers is on the Hotpoint site Tony, I guess you didn’t look in the right area eh?

Nope, never found the need but that aside I know Hotpoint, used to work for them when it was BDA so pride myself in knowing a bit about them but one with a ceramic seal had me thinking.
Incidentally it was the forum moderator who posted about ceramic seals so putting 2 and 2 together thought he knew what he was talking about.Tony
