I am trying to find a relay( for the gear box) for this machine, Connect are saying no longer available, just wondered if anyone might know where I might find one? Cheers Kez

You don’t mean the brake solenoid by any chance ?
List price over £85.00. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone hasn’t got one of these lying around. Might even have one myself, thats assuming you do mean the brake solenoid. No relay of any kind used on these machines since they changed the motor relay to a capacitor nearly 20 years ago.

This ones clunking out on spin so am presuming its that part needed? Cust wants to go ahead so if anyone has one that would be great. Cheers Kez

TBH these solenoids were very reliable, only really changed them due to severe pump leaks soaking them and then burning out. When they put a metal water shield on them the usage dropped to next to nothing.
When you say ‘clunking out’ on spin what do you actually mean, is the brake lever clunking each revolution or can you actually see the solenoid firing on and off?
There was a fault elsewhere that used to cause the brake solenoid to fire on and off like a machine gun, its so long ago I can’t remember exactly, I think it was due to the pressure switch contacts arcing. Also due to the water level switches burning out.
Could also be lid switch needs adjusting.
If it clunks once each revolution then the brake lever itself is the area that needs attention.
