    Hi,
I need a door interlock for this one, part 168412, the black four tag but it is unavailable. Is there an alternative or a way round this as the m/c is in great condition?
    Thanks
    Rob

It has been obsolete for several years now. No legal or safe way round it.

You could stick a question in the Trade Spares forum, someone may have one, possibly even a used one from a scrapper.

I don’t have a 168912 but I do have a brand new 168914 FEME Interlock Kit that is meant to fit a 95840,9550,9554,9560 & 9564 series. To my certain knowledge you can switch fixing brackets from one to the other to suit. So I’m open to any reasonable offer if you can’t get a 168912…OK? 😉

    Thanks lads,
She decided that a new Zan washer/drier was a better bet. We shall wait and see.

Nah! Just typical of what our customers get up to these days. :rolls:

A few days back I wrote off an elderly Ariston as being BER. All the while my customer asked “what machine would you recommend?”……… I cited BOSCH as a good purchase. 😉

I parked up in the local Sainsburys carpark yesterday (like ya do!) and she ran up to me and said…. “We’ve been out and bought a new Indesit Moon as they were £30 cheaper than BOSCH….are they any good?” 😆

Yeah, like the time i advised a woman not to buy a hotpoint and i got “You’re going to kill me, i bought a hotpoint. I got it cheap.”
