    Hi All

This machine has developed a small leak from the back of the tub, it looks like the rear of the tub was a 2 piece blow mold construction which is glued together, this leaves the bearing strengthening legs as hollow tubes, the leak appears to be happening within this hollow section as can be seen in the picture below.

Is there a way to seal this? I was wondering about filling the hollow with some form of expanding foam or silicone or is there a better way that you could recommend (that is not replacing the tub or machine)?

    Hi

That looks like the bearing seal is leaking.

New tub or in the skip with it!

I am not sure that it is the bearing seal as the level of the water in the hollow goes up and down with the water in the tub, it turns out that it may have been leaking for a long time yet it has no bearing rumble.
