Hotpoint aqc9bf5 control wire

Hi, I recently opened up my Hotpoint aqc9bf5 as the control knob was spinning free and needed replacing. As I was removing the control panel I went to remove the cable connector and noticed a thin green wire was loose and not connected to anything. All the terminals on the connector block have a cable in so I’m not sure where it is meant to go.

can you see where the wire goes to ?
