I’ve changed an open circuit heater on this aqualtis dryer but F14 reappeared when I opened the door to check the heat.
Can somebody advise if there is a reset method to clear a fault code on these ?

there is not a fault code reset on these, have you fitted the correct heater, production code and seriel number required to identifiy the correct heater.

Mmmm…I’m sure I gave the girl at the spares counter all the numbers, I’ll check on monday though.
Funny, it ran ok until i opened the door.I found a post on another site by a member of the public, who had changed the heater on the same m/c and had the same problem. He did’nt state if he solved it though.

Is there anyone who can help me out on this ?
We’ve double checked with hotpoint on this and they state this is the correct heater, pt no c00258678. This m/c is still bringing up f14 however, the serial no is 905144150. Is this likely to need a module as there seems to be no reset for this ?

    Grateful for any help,

    Allan.
