Hotpoint AQGD 169S

First time i have seen one of these machines .The mains filter is o.k.
and the light that iluminates the inside of the drum works when the door is
open , but thats your lot no error code nothing .I Know this will sound
silly but there is a spare wire (green) from the door harness which terminates
near the door harness plug .The end of the wire is still bare as if it has never been connected and all the connectors with in the radius of the wire seem
perfect .The machine finished its last wash o.k. and has not worked since ,any ideas .

you dont realy get much problems with these to be honest, i’ve never come across that fault before, i have had a couple of duff front pcbs i usaly plug one in from a WF machine and see if it lights up, as for the spare green wire thay all ahve that and serves no purpose as far as i can see. jj

Thank you for your fast reply , The machine is only 14 months old and
has i have no expieriance of this machine i decided to pass the job over ,
