Called this morning, condensor gunged up. Removed heater box and cleared out 85{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the blockage with various bits of wire etc but from the back I can still see a small area at the bottom that is dirty.

I tried to remove the small securing nut from the centre of the condensor but it was turning without unscrewing.
I’m guessing that this means it will be impossible to actually remove this condensor as the machine has sealed drum.

Its the first one I have tried to remove, anyone managed to get one right off?

    Jim.

its the same as the older model widl machines plastic condenser theres a large clamp around the condenser securing it to the tank if you look down the inside of the cabinet you will see it usually its secured with a 7mm bolt not easy to get at but can be done

Thanks, I did have a look but it was a rather dark kitchen and my torch was on the blink. 😥

thats the condenser i emailed you about Jim, you have to undo the lower clamp by feel as you cannot see it, i use a small dumpy screwdriver, that condenser comes in 2 versions 1 with the old style metal meash filter and the new 1 which has a plastic filter pushed into the tub.

😳 Ah yes, I remember that now, customer has already paid the Indesit Company £80+ just over 12 months ago, said he just pulled the heater box off, didn’t touch condensor.
