Hi,
Our Hotpoint Aqualtis AQC9 tumble drier has just come up with an F08 error and flashing of four orange lights. Anyone know what causes this and what a potential fix could be please?

Ok found the issue – it looks like the float is sticking and the pump not then priming and sucking the water up to the water catch tray. So all the water out of the drying is then leaking all over the place…

It turned out that not only was the float sticking due to fluff, but the lower section where the condenser tray sits also had some fluff in the water trough behind it which had blocked the small passageway from there into the pump well.
We regularly clean the condenser unit, so over 7 years of use some of the fluff managed to migrate through the water trough and into the hole.
