got a call booked to one of these it’ll be the first Ive seen so has anyone got any tips? customer says error code shows door not locking Ive ordered door lock in advence but is there anything else I should be looking as?

check if the door actually locks?

if it does and it doesnt start, check the brushes

usual hotpoint tat to be honest

may well just be the lock

Probly door lock, no brushes on these, to be honest not had a lot of problems with them.

Awesome machine

I’ve got one

My Hotpoint engineer friend says they are very reliable and give very little problems

I’ve only been to two:
1 lifter had popped out
2 blocked pump

I’ve also been to two:

first one 13 months old bearings gone,

SECOND one 14 months old BEARINGS also gone.

Don’t think alot more needs to said.

has to be said, ive changed a couple of tubs, but theyre not THAT bad

paddles are a problem, but other than that.. not bad at all

now, the wd440? that should have a thread of its own

just been out to this machine. door interlock plug block had come off, it points down so might be something to look out for in future
