Hotpoint aqualtis aq9l29i door seal replacement & prewash on

Hi all,
I’ve been asked to fit a door seal to a hotpoint aqualtis and I’m wondering how straightforward they are ?
Also the customer say’s that the prewash light is flashing when the m/c is on, but still works ok 😕
Can anyone offer any advise on this ?

1. Remove the top cover.
2. Remove the outer wire clamp, attaching the door seal to the cabinet.
3. Release the door seal from the cabinet front and disconnect the plug connector to the lamp in the door seal.
4. Remove the door seal from the tank front. The seal is fixed to the tank front by a sprung ring.

Not sure about the prewash light, I can’t even see it on the diagram but all proper error codes are given by flashing the left hand set of vertical lights.

It used to signify a fill valve fault on earlier Indespoints.

Thanks for the reply Iadom sounds simple enough,but i’ve been told the seal “bellows out” in the middle. Does this create any problems with refitting the inner spring ?
