Hotpoint Aqualtis AQXGD169PM F1 Blocked Error

Hi

Have this washer, with F1 error code and the message blocked on the screen. Cleaned filter out and checked connections and all fine….. any ideas before a sledge hammer goes through it….

F1 is a motor triac short. Could be bad connections between motor and main pcb, faulty motor or most likely a fault on the main pcb. 😥

F1 = Motor fault and/or motor has also blown the triac on the main circuit board! 🙁

Thankyou very much mate we are going to scrap it!

Its not mine its grandma and grandad in law.

They have just ordered a Zanussi….hope it lasts..
