Hotpoint Aqualtis AQXXF 149PI – Error Code F-01 and flashing

Hello, I’ve an issue with my Washing Machine which has decided not to work. The only cycle that seems to work is the drain setting, but on all other cycles the programme appears to start but the drum doesn’t move (then after a while all the lights flash and the error code F-01 comes up). I’ve checked the filter and there are no blockages at all (all pipework checked from machine to sink trap to exterior drain). Does anyone know what the issue could be or recommend any other checks I can do to diagnose and repair the fault. Many thanks in advance for any suggestions. Mark 😀

Sadly not good news, F01 is supposed to be a motor triad fault. Can be loose or broken motor wiring but is more likely to be a main pcb failure.
