Hotpoint aquarious extra wms38

I have the above machine (for 5 years now) and tonight I tried to do a rinse and spin dry of a dress. (maybe randomly) soon after the power to that part of my house fused. I turned it all back on and now when I have tried to start the machine again, it appears to start , the rinse & spin light comes on as well as the final spin (as normal) but a few seconds later the door locked light also come on and flashes and the machine won’t start . I have tried on other cycles too as well as the standard reboot of turning off at the mains.
Does anyone have any ideas please?

Don’t keep trying it. You may just have worn motor brushes or something may have already blown the main PCB.

Be sure to remove the mains plug if you intend to have a look or try the link below to see if we have someone who can help.
