I’m having some trouble with my Hotpoint Aquarius 1100 filling up water on spin cycle and it’s leaving all the clothes soaking wet at the end.

Any ideas whats wrong and how to fix it?

    Many thanks in advance.

Is it filling up or not emptying?

    Regards

Instead of emptying and then spinning, it’s constantly filling with water and emptying. But at the end of the cycle the clothes are soaking.

A proper model number/serial number would be a big help. 😉

The 1100 is the spin speed and Aquarius covers at least three completely different model ranges.

For instance, there are one or two older models that have a ‘step cooling’ system on the synthetics cycle that do fill & empty for a good 10 minutes or so to reduce thermal shock, on very rare occasions I have seen these machines stick at this point.

Is the fault on all cycles or just synthetics/delicates?

    Jim.
