    Hi,
The washer dryer im repairing was tripping the consumer unit the problem was a faulty armature whichI replaced. Now the machine works perfectly but dosen’t heat properly (intermittently and only at 40* settings) the element is good, the thermistor is ok,the pressure switch is working, the cables are all conected and good and the board is not showing any damage. Its an old model and the timer searches until it gets to the 40* programme and then heats intermittenly.
Can anyone out there help me please.
    Thanks,
    Crockett.

Can only be a faulty control unit given the sypmtoms you describe.

Have a look at http://www.emwelec.co.uk to see if they do a recon timer.
