I have the above machine. It works just fine – but recently an internal hose split and I have replaced it. That hose leads to the drum overflow at the top of the machine. It looks to go from there to the soap dispenser area.

The problem is that water only travels from the fill manifold through that pipe at the time the washer has finished washing and goes into the dryer cycle. When this happens water spurts out of the drum overflow.

    Can anyone help please

    Thanks chp

OK, I think we are talking about a washer/dryer here (the model number would be a great help 😉 ) ???

In which case the drum overflow you refer to is a ‘dryer water inlet air break’. It sits on the top of the back panel with a black cover on it (correct?)

If water spurts from there I can only conclude that the flow restrictor from the 3 way inlet valve has come adrift for some reason, but I may be barking up the wrong tree here?

More info please is best to decide. 🙂

    Thanks for the swift reply.

The model number is 9936. It is a washer dryer

You will know, I am sure, that the hose internal hose to that location is open ended. I was surprised that it split.

It does sit on the back panel and has a black cover over it.

There is a 3 way valve where the water enters the machine, and where the internal hose goes from.

It only seems to have water through it when it becomes the ‘dryer’

    Thanks again
    Chris
