there is a ball located in the drum outlet pipe , nearly the same diameter as the pipe it seems its acting like a one way valve allows water to travel one direction only any way my question this ball has ended up inside the drum between the 2 halves is this a major problem for the operation of the washer ??

    It’s an ecoball.

It rises when the machine fills and saves water use, power and detergent.

They are however, will we say, prone to having issues especially where liquid detergent is used as they stick. Where that happens it has been known for them to be removed to save any future issues.

So yes it will affect the performance, slightly.

No, it won’t stop the machine from working if it isn’t there.

The only possible way that ball could have got into the drum is if someone has taken the sump hose off, removed the plastic cover that fits into the drum opening over the ball and refitted the sump hose assembly with the ball in it. leaving the top part of the filter assembly out. It is impossible for the plastic ball to pass into the drum if the top half of the filter assembly is in place.
