Hotpoint DF22P is sticking between programme 4 &5. It never finishes the cycle. An engineer replaced the timer and serviced the machine. He had to call on two occassions and informed me that everything was ok. He tested everything on the first occasion and when called back he said that the timer was wired incorrectly. then he said it was ok again. The machine is still sticking between 4 & 5. Another engineer said he would take a look at it if I could get a wiring diagram for the switch. Can anybody help me out.

Very interesting reading on this one it seems albeit spread over 2 threads 😉
Wiring diagrams are only (although rare these days) available to the trade. Looking up this one, it appears to still be available through some wholesalers (maybe even direct from Hotpoint too?) The part number is 5401080 and costs around £25 I believe.
Like my colleague (iadom) commented before, it is unlikely the timer is the cause of the fault anyhow….best of luck!
