Hotpoint Aquarius DW20 Error lights 2 & 4

When i start this dishwasher on any washcycle, the machine appears to start okay for about 30 – 60 seconds, then the 2nd and 4th light (wash and drying) start flashing. You can hear the machine pumping out water. It stops but lights carry on flashing and nothing else happens.

Suggests possible heater fault, quite common on these Indesit machines.

May be the heater itself but could be wiring or controls, testing with the correct equipment is the only way to determine the cause. Click the link in my sig to see if we have somone who can help.

Please remove the mains plug if you intend to go inside yourself.

Sorry I left a letter out it’s a Hotpoint Aquarius FDW20, and I’m definitely from and live in the uk
