ParticipantHi,
Our Dwf 30 which is now about 4-5 years old and has never put a foot wrong has suddenly stopped.
it was about halfway through the washing cycle ( the tablet had been dispensed) and it just stopped .. no real noise, no smoke nothing..
now its completely dead.
Power is going through the power switch. but theres no activity. no lights nothing.
Can I get a wiring diag somewhere to trace it though ??.Anyone got clues where to look.. it has a seimens module.
Is there any monitoring of other parts like a heater element etc.. that can cause it to shut off ??…
we always used Oost type stuff etc to keeo it clean inside and its still looks like new..
Any help please ?? thanks Chris

A Bosch made machine, no wiring diagrams available I’m afraid. Live testing is not advisable. If you have a circuit tester you could see if you can find a trace into the module from the door or On/Off switch. Module is very expensive and indeed is obsolete for some models already. We would need your full serial number to be sure.

Hi again ,
thanks for the supply.
The module number is Siemens 5WK57751..
My wife called in local repair man while i was at work ., ( not my choice) ?. he spent 1 hour (£44) to tell us what I aleady knew theres power into but not out of the module, and that would be 200+ ? for a new one if one can be found .. or 84 for a repair that might sort it out.. thats 84 quid even if it can’t be repaired or its not the module thats the problem?. … we declined the offer. 200 quid??? pass the lube !!! 😉
Actually it only measures 125 volts from the power switch to the module , according to my Fluke meter.. so off to have a track of the power feed in from the plug. module looks to have been a bit warm (slight dicolouring of the case around the black transformer ??) but little or no continuity through the transformers?? 8 pinouts..regards

Sorry, I meant the serial number of the dishwasher.
The list price of the module that is still available is just over £100 ex vat.

Thanks again for a quick reply…
Where will I find the serial ?.. this machine is quite naked of any numbers/ labels etc externally .. the only number I can find is on the mains cable input plastic fitting ..

Serial number is usually along the top edge of the cabinet just under the lid or etched into the stainless steel door along the top inner rim.

Smacks of a supply problem to me? 😕
You should have 230/240v at the main on/off switch so I suspect wall socket, 13amp plug problems or even the Mains Filter Unit?

That looks like the one, date code 03 changes every month, sadly the modules for machines before date code 07 are now obsolete.
