Hotpoint Aquarius+ FDF780 -cycle timer jumps 40 mins

My apologies if this is covered but I couldn’t find anything.
My symptoms are:

No fault codes
Digital timer jumps 40 / 20 mins at once
Dishwasher tablet remains
Water is cold

The main circulation motor, heater and electronics are known weak points on Indesit dishwashers, usually throws up an error code or makes a noise though?

Without any error codes then visual and electrical testing of all components ( with the mains plug removed ) is the only way forward.
