Hotpoint Aquarius TDC 32 advice please

Anyone know what this tumble dryer noise means?:

It was making an unusual rumble then around 5 mins later it started with this scraping noise. Not keen to run it now until I know what’s going on and if people think it’s worth repairing.

It has been suggested it’s the jockey wheel but some opinions on here would be valued

There are two jockey pulleys but that does sound more like fan noise. There are also two fans, one at the back , easily accessed from behind the small back panel, the other inside the internal fan housing, access more difficult. TBH changing both fans and both jockey pulleys does not involve expensive parts.

I have tried again this morning to get a longer video but now it won’t turn. Would that still tie in with your comments?

Very likely, so rather than videoing, it’s now time to unplug the machine and take the side panels off and investigate what’s happening inside. 💡
